A strategic partner to the mining supply and service sector

Efforts that promote Northern Ontario’s world-class solutions on the global stage

Northern Ontario is home to over 900 mining supply and service companies. Since its founding in 2011, the Northern Ontario Exports Program has championed the global growth and expansion of this sector. We support strategic initiatives designed to open doors to new markets and raise Northern Ontario’s profile on the world stage. This is accomplished by working closely with industry-leading organizations such as MineConnect and Mining Suppliers Trade Association (MSTA) Canada.

Northern Ontario Storefront in Elko, Nevada
MineConnect USA established a base in Elko, Nevada that is serving as a market entry point for up to 30 companies from Northern Ontario.

Trade Missions to Key Markets
Missions led by MineConnect have exposed participating companies to potential partners and supply chain opportunities in the Quebec and Nevada mining markets.

MINEXPO 2021 Northern Ontario Pavilion
In partnership with MSTA Canada, a Northern Ontario Pavilion was created to showcase the region’s suppliers and mining potential at one of the world’s largest mining trade shows.
